2024 Asset class returns
Hello everyone and happy New Year! Now that 2024 is officially over, it's time to take a look at how major asset classes have performed. Compared to last year's version, I made a couple improvements:
- I have now added a legend with the index used to track the performance
- Added a couple extra asset classes
- Added Bitcoin. Big disclaimer here though. If you have followed the crypto world at any point, you know that volatility is very high (in both directions). Looking at the yearly returns it might look like a no brainer to put all your eggs in Bitcoin, however price can swing heavily multiple times - even per week.
